This song is about being set free and not being trapped by sin, since God gives us the power to overcome it. There are a lot of temptations in this world but knowing God’s Word allows us to recognize sin and fight against it but trusting in Him.

Like the care the Shepherd gives, when we are in God's presence and know His love we can live with no fear. Based on Psalm 23, Because I Know Him.

God's Grace is new every morning. It's like God is whispering forgiveness into your ears every morning before you wake up. Jesus already have paid the price.

Song written, produced and performed by Mats Dernánd. A video by Jacob Svahn, Alexander Nilsson, Kalle Nyström och David Ekström. All guitars, Per Alexanderson.

My new song "Can´t redeem myself" is released on Spotify and other platforms Oct 22.
This is a song about the gravity of the soul, the burden of guilt and the longing for redemption. It was heavily inspired by the movie "21 grams" by Alejandro González Iñárritu, specifically Benicio del Toros character; the sobered up ex-con that preaches for everyone and still falls short himself. One bad decision leads to another and the spiraling descent into darkness is a fact.
All instruments and vocals except piano are performed by me, the writer of lyrics and melody. Mats Dernánd - piano, co-producer, mix and mastering.
