While those memories and the pictures captured of that special day are important, there is one piece, a memento, that means more than any picture or video: the wedding ring. The wedding ring symbolizes the lifelong promise and commitment made that day. Since that piece of jewelry means so much, losing it would be catastrophic enough to cause someone to panic. Sadly, that’s precisely what happened to one woman who went snorkeling in the Atlantic Ocean.

In the clip posted on YouTube, the woman states that she had just finished snorkeling when she noticed that her wedding ring was no longer on her hand. Somehow, as she explained the situation, she was able to remain calm. So, instead of immediately telling her husband, she went back out snorkeling, hoping to somehow and some way come across her ring.

And, as luck would have it, that’s exactly what happened.

She found her wedding ring, thankfully, in shallow water.

“I was, like, screaming under the water,” Sara Maunee said. “I mean, I got back, I was jumping for joy. I felt like I had won the lottery that day.”

Given the slim odds of finding a ring in the ocean, it’s safe to say that she probably did the equivalent of winning the lottery that day.

A grandmother’s birthday celebration with her friends will melt your heart. To mark the special occasion, the elderly women did something that likely no one saw coming. Once people reach a certain age, birthdays are generally ignored. It’s almost like that day on the calendar no longer exists. As far as most people are concerned, a year consists of 364 days. Correcting someone who thinks and feels that way would be to put your life and safety at risk.

Honestly, as much as most people hate their birthdays because it’s a sign of getting older, nothing can be done to stop them from coming. So, understanding this, it would seem that we should be more accepting of birthdays, right? I mean, you typically receive presents, and cake is usually involved somehow and somewhere, and that’s always a good thing.

A clip posted on social media shows how a woman in her 80s has no fear of getting older. In fact, she and her friends found a unique way to recognize her 85th birthday. They did not want to do the typical birthday celebration with balloons, party hats and the whole nine yards. Instead, the woman wanted to go to her local playground, and that is what she and her friends did.

The clip shows the women having the time of their lives, taking turns riding the slide. It mentions that the grandmother, who was turning 85, just wanted to have fun like she used to when she was a child.

We all get older, and we can do nothing to change that fact. Instead of trying to hide and mask aging, why not embrace it like these ladies and have fun with it?

A teen with a big heart has given athletes with disabilities a shot at experiencing baseball joy. The high school student’s heartwarming move has allowed others to have fun playing baseball, which may never have happened otherwise. Most people love watching athletes compete against one another and cheering their team on to victory. Is there anything better than watching your team get a big W following a hard-fought, highly competitive game? What about playing the game yourself?

Sadly, some do not get that opportunity to step up to the plate and show others what they can do. Instead, they are relegated to the sidelines, where they must watch from the sidelines and only dream of what would happen if given the chance to play. A clip posted on YouTube tells of a young man and his father providing a group of special athletes with an opportunity to fulfill those athletic dreams.

As a high school freshman, Matthew McCauley came up with the Redondo Sunset Champions League idea. It’s a baseball league that gives anyone, regardless of their physical or mental challenges, the opportunity to play baseball.

Matthew was motivated by his desire to do something positive in the world.

“The big idea? Just to do some positive good,” Matthew said. “It was really gratifying, I’d say, just to see these kids play a sport that I love.”

While those who play in the league have enormous amounts of fun, Matthew added that he is the one who has been blessed.

“I’m thankful for having been able to do this,” he said. “It’s been amazing to see the players get better.”

What a tremendous way to show love and kindness to others. The league gives some athletes the opportunity to play baseball, which they may never have had if not for the league.

A great-grandmother bounced into joy during her first-ever jumps on a trampoline. The woman clearly had the time of her life as she could not contain her laughter while hopping around on the bouncy surface. Watch the short but sweet video of the older woman having fun on a trampoline.

Staying active is one of the best ways to remain as healthy as possible. Unused muscles tend to deteriorate and atrophy, so getting up and moving around is always a good idea. That is one reason every medical professional stresses the importance of regular, daily exercise.

While exercise is not always the most fun thing in the world, it remains vitally important no matter your age or stage in life. The great thing about exercise is that it can and does take many different shapes and forms. Anything can be exercise; getting up, doing something, exerting energy and working your muscles is essential.

As the text in the video explains, the woman’s great-grandson learned that she had never been on a trampoline and invited her to enjoy her first bounces with him. The little guy bounces around as his great-grandmother is helped onto the trampoline. Once on the trampoline, she carefully bounces up and down, slowly getting a feel for and taking in this new experience. 

After a few moments, she seems to become a tad nervous and holds onto the man kneeling on the trampoline a little too hard, inadvertently gripping him around the neck.

“You’re choking him,” the man said.

A handful of kids met with Spider-Man at Disneyland, but what happened next surprised everyone. The children and the people standing nearby who were capturing the Spider-Man meet-and-greet were utterly taken aback. But that was not all.

After taking the photo, the person in the Spider-Man suit pulled off his mask, revealing that it was Tom Holland, the actor who plays the superhero in the popular Marvel films. Tom’s big reveal was met with complete shock and surprise as many let out screams and shouts.

After saving a man’s life, these bank employees got the tastiest “thank you.” Those who work at one Wells Fargo location stepped up in a big way, and their quick, decisive actions helped keep one man alive. Life is an unpredictable series of events, and medical emergencies are part of that. Unfortunately, emergencies happen every day. How often do you see an ambulance, its siren blaring and its lights flashing, racing down the highway? A lot, right?

Jimmy Mock, 89, went to his local Wells Fargo to deposit a check when something went terribly wrong. The video says that his body started to sway, he lost consciousness and his face drooped. Jimmy was having a stroke in the bank. Employees in the bank immediately gave the 89-year-old a chair and called 911. First responders were on the scene quickly and rushed the restaurant owner to the hospital.

However, the bank employees' swift call to 911 likely saved Jimmy’s life.

“They called 911 right away,” one woman said. “And honestly, that speed to call is what helped save his life.”

Jimmy and his family are eternally grateful for their quick and decisive efforts and wanted to express their appreciation and gratitude, but how?

Jimmy is a restaurant owner, and one of his grandkids suggested a unique, out-of-the-box idea: give those hero bank employees free chicken wings for life.

Nothing will likely change your life more than becoming a parent. Children need a ton of attention and care. A delivery driver had a sweet surprise for three kids running a lemonade stand, and his kindness warms hearts. Yes, it seems that cruelty, brutality and apathy often reign supreme in society. Who cares what happens to someone else as long as I get mine, right?  However, that is not always correct. In the video, the delivery driver, who appears to work for UPS, exits his truck and walks up to a lemonade stand being run by three young ladies. Like every child who has ever operated a lemonade business, they are simply trying to quench their customers' thirst while also making a little bit of money in the process. However, the deliveryman is a bit surprised after asking about the going rate for a cup of their lemonade.
 
“Fifty cents, but you can have it for free,” one of the young ladies responds to the driver’s inquiry.
 
“What?” the man says, flabbergasted at the response.
 
He then proceeds to try their lemonade, commenting that their drink is delicious. But he does not simply get in his truck and drive away. Instead, he surprises each of them with a rather large tip, giving each girl $20.
 
What a wonderfully kind and unexpected gesture! Those three young ladies will likely remember that man’s kindness for years.

A high school principal went above and beyond to show support for graduating students. The dedicated educator's actions were kind, sweet and completely unexpected. Graduation, whether from high school or college, is a milestone that should be recognized and celebrated. It’s a big step in life, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Those graduates typically have many questions, dreams and fears about their future. That’s why they need to know they are loved and supported as they set out for the future and the unknown. Students who graduated from one high school in Texas know they are loved and supported after what the school’s principal did for every member of the graduating class.

A clip posted on YouTube tells of how Jason Mutterer sat down and wrote a note to all 443 members of his school’s graduating class. These weren’t form letters where he signed his name at the bottom. He personalized them, spending hours after work learning about the students. The notes informed each student how they had personally impacted the school for the better.

“So, I wanted them to be able to pull that out and be a reminder that there’s something very special inside of them,” he said.

One student mentioned he teared up while reading the personalized, handwritten card from the school’s principal.

Even during their graduation ceremony, the high school principal, while speaking, actually turned his back on the crowd at one point and addressed the students specifically one last time.

“He made every single one of us feel seen and loved that day,” one student said.

What a beautiful and powerful act of kindness!

The video starts with the beginning of a race at the Special Olympics. The athletes make their way along the track as a crowd of people stands just off the track, using their phones to capture every moment of the race. However, seconds into the race, something unexpected happens.

As the runners pass by, one young man is seen crossing the track, approaching the cameras. Several people yell and tell him to remain on the track, but he doesn’t listen. Instead, he runs over to his mother and kisses her. After showing his mother how much he loves and appreciates her, he returns to the track and continues with his race.

What an adorable scene! When it comes to sports, it’s easy to get caught up in the heat of the competition, but this young man knew what mattered most to him: his mother.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a recent George Mason graduate, Samantha Lewis, refused to quit, continuing when she encountered devastating, overwhelming circumstances.

She came down with a rare neurological condition, causing her to lose feeling in both legs, basically leaving her paralyzed. However, although it would have been much easier, Samantha refused to give up. She continued with her studies, taking six classes simultaneously while she went through months of physical therapy. The video explains that she had to learn to walk again.

“I’m going to try my best because I can’t give up without trying first,” Samantha said.

Eventually, graduation day arrived, and Samantha appeared on stage in a wheelchair. Still, she did something no one saw coming: She stood up and walked across the stage to receive her diploma, and as she did that, the noise level was deafening.

“What inspires people who you become despite what you’ve been through,” Samantha said.

A barber’s gentle approach to a young man with autism touches hearts. The man went at a pace that was comfortable and to the young man’s liking, never pushing him any further than he wanted to go. The clip begins with the barber approaching the young man, Kyson. From his initial reaction, it’s clear that this is an entirely new experience for him, and he’s terrified. However, the barber remains calm, cool and understanding throughout the process.

The barber talks to the young man the whole time, trying to understand what makes him so afraid and uneasy. Anytime something arises that upsets Kyson, the barber slows things down and patiently reassures him.

Eventually, the little guy feels comfortable enough to hop into the chair and is coaxed into getting his haircut. While cutting the young man’s hair, the barber starts conversing with him, asking if they are now friends.

Later, the clip shows Kyson’s second visit to the barbershop, during which the barber demonstrates the same level of kindness, love and patience.

“That’s the gift when you’re like, when you see him transition from being terrified to just trusting, you know?” the kind and understanding barber says.

A community has come together to support an 80-year-old man still working to pay medical bills. The elderly gentleman continues to go to work because of a promise he made to his late wife. Retirement is a lifelong goal for most people. That time when someone can kick back and relax and not have to worry about going to a 9-to-5 is a period many people dream about. Sadly, though, not everyone can afford to retire. For one reason or another, a lot of people have to continue working even at an advanced age. However, someone in their 80s or 90s shouldn’t have to work. We were created for more than simply working until we drop dead. That’s exactly what one woman thought when she saw Gary Saling bagging groceries, and she decided to do something.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Gary explains that his wife Carol developed and later died from a form of dementia. However, he explains that he made a promise to her when she was sick: he would not put her in a nursing home but would instead keep her at their home. He turned to bagging groceries to help pay off the thousands in medical bills owed.

Duana Johnson saw the kind and gentle elderly man working at the supermarket and decided to do something.

“I saw Gary bagging groceries, and I thought, ‘What’s this guy? Why’s this elderly man still here?’” she asked.

The woman who is the head of a ministry in her Utah town started a donation account at a bank on behalf of Gary.

“So, we started a fundraiser, and people have been messaging saying that they, they see him all the time,” she said. “And they really love him. He’s always nice. He’s always kind. He’s always, like, you know, greeting them and smiling.”

A dedicated and determined husband completely dismantled their car to recover his wife’s lost wedding ring. Nothing would stop or stand in his way in the search for his wife’s wedding band. So, that’s why whenever someone loses or momentarily misplaces their wedding ring, they immediately get that awful feeling in the pit of their stomach. That was a feeling Jessica Foster likely felt when she lost her wedding ring in her and her husband’s BMW. However, her husband, Geno, was not going to be stopped. He was going to find that ring and actually took apart their car to find it.

In the video posted on YouTube, Geno is seen digging through what remains of his BMW. He has removed everything from it, leaving only the frame.

Eventually, Geno found what he was looking for: the ring between two pieces of carpet near the vehicle’s center console.

“I just knew I had to do whatever it takes to find the ring,” he said. “I wasn’t going to stop looking for it.”

A class immediately erupted in cheers following a student’s life-changing announcement. The youngsters were beyond thrilled for their classmate and wasted no time expressing their excitement and happiness. In the video, the young man is captured quickly walking through the halls. It’s almost like he’s a man on a mission, ready to tell everyone possible about his good news, and why should he be? Cancer is an awful, horrible thing, and whenever it is defeated, it should be shared widely and celebrated.

As the little guy entered the auditorium, he was greeted with enthusiastic cheers and applause. His mere presence was enough to send his classmates wild, but the best was still yet to come.

While standing at the front of the room, an adult informs the youngsters sitting on the ground that Braxton wanted to stop by and share some important news with them.

“I’m cancer-free,” the young man says proudly.

The students erupt into cheers and applause, loving the news that they have just heard that their beloved classmate has defeated cancer.

What an absolutely beautiful announcement and reaction!
