The Daily Pulse (Thursday, May 30, 2013): Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads. Revelation 4:4 (NIV)
David Platt’s latest book, “Follow Me,” picks up where his best-selling book “Radical” left off. Christians are called both to follow Christ and to be disciple-makers. Trusting only in the radical righteousness of Christ, we lay down our lives to do God’s will in whatever location He calls us to serve.
Rebecca Halton was the "other woman" in an extramarital affair. Shelley Hendrix was the wife of a husband who cheated on her. Together, they've created TeamRedeemed.org, and are dedicated to helping others find hope and forgiveness after an affair.
When my 2-year-old daughter was born, I told my wife I did not want her. I spent an entire year depressed because I believed everything society told me about having a daughter with Down syndrome. Now two years later she is the joy of my life. She is not a monster, she is not ugly, she is not retarded, and she is not a burden on our family. She is a beautiful little girl that brings joy to our daily lives. I understand the fear of having a child that is different, so I want to encourage you to consider taking the road less traveled and see the beautiful things a child with Down syndrome can show you. This is from the Passion 2013 album "Let The Future Begin". Wonderful song by Kristian Stanfil. Yes, the Lord indeed reigns, we know it, and this song decrees that.
This is a song from the 2004 album "Lost In Wonder", a compilation album by three wonderful Christian female artists, Michelle Tumes, Susan Ashton, and Christine Dente. I'm not positive, but I think this is Susan Ashton singing lead on this one, although it also sounds a lot like Michelle Tumes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. By the way, this is a delightful album, I highly recommend it. This song is typical of the rest of the album.
The Daily Pulse (Sunday, May 26, 2013): What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Romans 6:1-4 (NIV)
The Daily Pulse (Saturday, May 25, 2013): Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:34-36 (NIV)
This video jam titled "Have You Been Tending the Lord's Garden?" comes from a sermon preached by Dr. Vincent G. Artese titled "Judge Between Me and My Vineyard".
This video jam is a call to all believers to remain diligent in their walk with Christ. It specifically points to all Christian men (Adam) to be faithful and diligent with what the Lord has called them to.
Adam, have you neglected so great a role as being the priest over your house or are you tending the Lord's garden?
