The Daily Pulse (Sunday, March 24, 2013): The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!” John 12:12-19 (NIV)

This variation of the old hymn "At The Name Of Jesus", written in 1870 by Caroline Noel, was played as part of a Tanzania missionary video presentation at my church. I asked the missionaries who it was that was singing, but they didn't know. I've asked several friends who know a lot about Christian music, and none of them knew. Couldn't find it in iTunes. Couldn't find it in CCLI. Does anybody out there recognize this rendition? The lyrics are the same as the traditional hymn, but the tune is different. The woman singing sounds Irish to me, but I could be wrong. Anyway, it's a gorgeous version of the hymn.
Hello pastor, I really enjoy listening to you on the website Enseigne-moi.com. I was born again in 2006 after having gone through a divorce and a deep depression. At the time, I just wanted to die. I then met a Christian, decided to follow a bible course and at last got baptized after 6 years of doubt. I must say, I am quite Cartesian in nature and my life has not been an easy ride but rather a rough one where I have had to hold on, so as not to let myself drown. I had hoped that my life would get better once I had become a Christian and that God would change my life. It has now been 6 years. Today I find myself still alone without a husband, living in a small apartment, driving a small car without a job and only some state aid as income. I still love God and his Word but quite honestly, I have given up. The weight has dried up the life in my bones and my faith is very low despite praying, begging, waiting, hoping, it has been nothing but desert. I think it must be something to do with me; something is not right; but what is it? Please answer me pastor if you have time. M Celeste Martin

The Daily Pulse (Thursday, March 21, 2013): Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:13-14 (NIV)
