Denomination - distinct understanding of a faith

The body of Jesus Christ is one, there are no denominations in Christ

When we are in Him we become the fruit of Christ Jesus.. all God is asking you to do is to come unto Him....you need to seek the Lord..

Matthew 11:28-30
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Matthew 7:15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 7:16-20
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks. 11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

Genesis 22

God not being referred to as father
Ps 68:5

Pray our Father
Type of prayer was foreign in the OT
Did not know God as Father
God not known as keeper, protector, or spoiler of his children
In OT God was judge, gave commandments

Ps 89:12
Cry unto me; Christ Jesus cried out unto God the Father

John 10:17
Father loves Jesus because Jesus gave his life to fulfill the will of the Father
If you can not stop doing some of the stuff you are doing then you do not know your father
Jesus paid the ultimate price because Jesus knew who His Father is

Keep the commandments of God
Shows that you are following will of God and that you love God
You can't love God if you don't know who God is

John 14:31
Jesus gave his life to show his love of God the Father
What are you willing to give?
There should be no limit to doing what God asks us to do

Mark 14:36
Abba Father, all things are possible
God is not a God that allows talk back, you to disrespect him and he not rebuke you,
When you love God you will follow His voice,

Rom 8:15
Law of the OT was considered bondage, but in Christ all the love you didn’t get, all the voids missing will endear you to God

Spirit of adoption
Children wait in orphanages to be adopted
Believers are adopted, not based on our looks, works, the good we did, but because Jesus vouches for all of us, Jesus brings us before the Father as His brothers and sisters, by adoption

Summary: As we finish our series about being Inside-Out Christians and being the Body of Christ, we consider God's calling for us to have an impact on the world around us. While Jesus warns about wolves in sheep clothing, we consider the much greater risk of Christians who feel like they can wear the world (a sheep in wolf clothing) when they are not in the church. We take some time to recap the past several weeks and consider the difference it could make in our lives and in our churches if Christians are willing to make the "I WILL" Pledge.

In this message Pastor Rich continues our series on X = Christ. Christ everywhere, Christ cosmic, Christ the human, Christ as creator, Christ the logic
of community, Christ in every direction, Christ our King, today and forever.

The truth is we can only put out what we have within us to begin with. Overcoming the evil within us helps us to do good and bless, rather than surrender to our carnal nature which seeks to curse and retaliate. A powerful message on the truths of true holiness and godliness which is achieved by not allowing evil to triumph over good, but rather by allowing good to triumph over the evil that lies always latent within us!

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
