Dr. Sarvadi speaks about Daniel 9 and the Fullness of the Gentiles in this Part 1 Video. The message was delivered at Shalom Hebraic Christian Congregation in Kingwood.
"Where are you?" These words were spoken by God as he coaxed Adam and Eve to come out of hiding after they had eaten the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. As God's children, we hear this phrase when we try to assign blame and shame to those who have done wrong to us or when we have wronged others. But Jesus made it possible for us to return to God by dying on the cross and assuming all the responsibilities for our sins. Isn't it wonderful that we have a God we can totally trust and who never gave up on us even after the terrible fall!
Christ taught a way of Life, not a religion. No one wants to step up and do what needs done. Its easy to sit and talk like you know what you are talking about. It is easy to throw religion around.
We have eliminated God and instead we are living a cartoon. We have become Barbies and G.I. Joes. God doesn't like cartoon churches. God is a Way of Life. It is time to get out of the cartoon.

Jesus, our once-and-for-all sacrifice, has paid our debts in full. What has not changed is our need to take our sins seriously, and that includes taking God seriously. The “devouring fire” of God’s presence in the Old Testament was no less fearful to the disciples in the New Testament. After seeing the full extent of Jesus’ glory they must be told, “Get up, and do not be afraid.” Have we grown too comfortable in our relationship with God? How can we show our reverent fear of Him today? Why is it so important that Jesus be not just our Savior but our Mediator before God even now? These are some of the questions I invite you to ponder with me this week. God be with you!
There is only one approach to God and that is through the cross of Jesus Christ. There is also only one way for a Christian to approach God in fellowship and service, that too is through Jesus Christ.
Pastor Doug begins our 6 week sermon series based on the book by Rick Warren "What On Earth Am I Here For?" We are each asked to consider the question, "What are you doing with your call?"
