As part of the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, various members of the congregation helped to retell the prophesies and the story of the birth of Christ as we relight the Advent candles.

People have a hard time with the laws of God and his ancient government from the Old Testament. Deut 21 and other laws cause people to overreact to God's goodness and justice without understanding the fairness of God. People cannot think like God, and most don't even try to. But this is why the narrow road follower of Jesus trusts in and knows God's law is for the protection of the innocent.
