That’s what happened among the Israelites who had returned to Jerusalem from captivity in Babylon when Ezra and Nehemiah explained the Hebrew Scriptures to them and showed them how they could avoid such affliction in the future. Our God is The God of Miracles, and the better we know Him, the less we underestimate His willingness and ability to do great things for us. It is our attitude toward God that determines the degree to which He can bless us—or not. In the Book of Numbers, Caleb and Joshua vividly demonstrated that attitude of absolute trust in God and His promises. We can do likewise.
