And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

Notice in verse four that the mature Christian women are to focus on and take responsibility to pour out their lives into the younger Christian women and disciple them. This is not a small task. "Teachers of good things" encompasses raising girls and young women in all aspects of Christian life. The weight of female discipleship training rests on the shoulders of the church's spiritual ladies, not the male pastor!<br /><br />"Now she who is really a widow, and left alone, trusts in God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day.
