Seed of my Future

Seeds that we sow is the future that awaits us. If these seeds aren't sown correctly, neither will our future become manifested the way God's plan has seasoned it.

Rev. C. David Coyle

STRESS---- It is a killer not only of the body but of the mind and the spiritual life. The Bible tells how to handle it in a manner that helps us and preserves the unity of the Spirit. It is a matter of recognizing what God has already told us about it.

Betrayal

1st reading: Luke 22:1-71

2nd reading: Luke 22:1-6

Topic: Don't let your praise betray you...

If you don't know who Jesus is, you really need to find out who He is.
A lot of people are selling out and just using the Bible like a cafeteria menu, picking and choosing in theBbible to fit the wrong that you are doing and want to do in your life. Our love of God needs to be sincere. You can be the minster in the church, be a deacon or even the pastor and still don't have Christ in you. When temptations or afflictions come in your life you betray Jesus, and betray your praise. We sell out for money. You have betrayed your faith in Christ Jesus. When people offer you stuff. The world is trying to deceive you. Tell you lies. When you go out there in the world and cussing or doing wrong things after you were in church praising God you are betraying God. Nero blamed the Christians for his issues.
No one in history denies that Jesus was here.. Joseph of Arimathea's tomb is where Jesus' body was laid, and after 3 days He rose. There is no one to disprove that He didn't rise from the dead. Everything on Christ Jesus is based on facts. We forget what God has done for us and betray God.

MAIN EVENT - Elijah vs the Prophets of Baal

850 to 1! Those odds seem overwhelming, but not when YOU are the one and GOD is the ONE who is with you. Elijah was a man of like passions as you, and God worked mightily with him, as He will with you, no matter the odds.

Mr. Lightning Rod

Would you praise a Bible teacher and then, a few minutes later, try to throw him off a cliff? Not unless you are whacked. The record in Luke 4 is an amazing testimony to Jesus' precise knowledge of Scripture, as well as to his attracting attention, both good and bad, even from the same people.

JUST TRUTH IT is dedicated to helping you understand the Word of God by providing accurate, sensible, inspiring, and entertaining biblical teaching so as to make known the Lord Jesus Christ, the Living Truth, and thus facilitate a worldwide community of mature Christians committed to following him by living the truth of God's Word and sharing it with others.

If you've got questions, God's got the answers! Have a listen, you'll be blessed you did!

If the teachings you find here bless you and help you in your Christian walk, please consider sowing into The Living Truth Fellowship financially in response to a blessing. You can do so at:

Acts 12:1 - 25

Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. 2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) 4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. 5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. 6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. 7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. 8 And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.

Genesis 4:1-5 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. 2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. 3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. 4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: 5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Genesis 22:1-8 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

048 - A Walk Through The Book Of ROMANS (Sess 48 - CH14:14-20) 3-24-15

This week we continue our ongoing walk through the Book of Romans. We continued with chapter 14, verses 14-20. We looked at the need for believers to invest the time, effort and energy in exploring personal issues and developing convictions. Personal convictions are what we are to live by and not corporate edicts or generalized, arbitrary rules. Differences of opinion should not be cause for disruption or disunity as we ought to focus on that which we hold in common, not on the areas where we disagree. (Sess 48 - CH 14:14-20) HD

WisdomByte: Hallelujah... Anyhow!

The words to the song, "Hallelujah Anyhow... never let your problems bring you down. When those troubles come your way, life your head up high and say, Hallelujah Anyhow" SHARED like you never heard it before. Laughter does good like medicine. A tidbit (message before the message) from the sermons of the On Good Ground Christian Fellowship. (Before the sermon, A Person After God's Own Heart, Part 2).
