Let The Weak Be Strong

Did you know that those who heard the first words of Jesus Christ that are recorded in Scripture almost dropped their teeth? Although Jesus was then speaking directly to Jews, the "bottom line" principle he set forth in his "inaugural address" also apply to us today. Here it is: The only people who have a chance are those who realize they have no chance. Got it? Getting in touch with the reality of your need
will drive you to a source of provision.

JUST TRUTH IT is dedicated to helping you understand the Word of God by providing accurate, sensible, inspiring, and entertaining biblical teaching so as to make known the Lord Jesus Christ, the Living Truth, and thus facilitate a worldwide community of mature Christians committed to following him by living the truth of God's Word and sharing it with others.

If you've got questions, God's got the answers! Have a listen, you'll be blessed you did!

If the teachings you find here bless you and help you in your Christian walk, please consider sowing into The Living Truth Fellowship financially in response to a blessing. You can do so at:

The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast...

In this message Pastor John looks at one of Jesus’ shortest parables and considers the mysterious trans-formative power of the kingdom of heaven.

“The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.”
Jesus in Matthew 13:33 NLT

“The Kingdom of God/Heaven is the realm within which the will of God is reality.”
From some Seminary professor I once heard quoted…

The Fruit of the Spirit, Part 2 (Longsuffering, Gentleness and Goodness)

"The Fruit of the Spirit" becomes evident in our lives as we walk with God. Yet there are fruit that we must allow to be cultivated so that we may continue to grow. As we avail ourselves to God to be changed, our fruit will develop. Pastor Jeff continues this teaching, with speaking of longsuffering, gentleness and goodness. Jumpin' Jehoshaphat

Jehoshaphat jumped when he shouldn't have, but God hung in there with him, and helped him jump back into His arms just in the nick of time. A living and real testimony to how God works with us despite our human frailties.

Colossians 1:9-15

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Forgive And Forget (You Have Heard It Said - Part 2 of 7)

Galen Hackman | Ephrata Church of the Brethren | Netzer.org
--------------------------------------------------------
Are there people we need to forgive?
Are there people we need to ask for forgiveness?
--------------------------------------------------------
Jesus often deconstructed commonly held cultural beliefs, re-framing what people thought they knew.
Today we ask... what are our misguided cultural philosophies... what are our superficial religious catch-phrases?
God search, know, show, lead us.

God's Teachings On How To Hear Him Yourself-5-Prophesying

In this video we begin to discuss how to hear God. Prior to this our discussions were centered in on asking if it is Biblical to hear God. (part 5 of10)

2 Timothy 2:1-26

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. 6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. 7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. 8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: 9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. 10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

God's Teachings On Hearing God Yourself-3-(Prophesying)

God always comes to us when we need Him (see Phil. 4:19), and He heals us from addiction and all sin through His voice of instruction and overwhelming love.

God's Teachings On Hearing God Yourself-2 (Prophesying)

(One hears God in their own language as God speaks through them and they Prophesy.) How do we walk in the Spirit? (Gal. 5:25)? We listen to the voice of God speaking in us and through us. The Spirit frees us and keeps us from all lust!

045 - A Walk Through The Book Of ROMANS (Sess 45 - CH 13:11-14) 2-17-15 SD

We continue our ongoing walk through the Book of Romans. This week we finished chapter 13, verses 11-14. We looked today at the need to walk the walk as we know to walk it, and to live soberly and godly, as the day draws nearer for the coming of the Lord. (Pastor Charles was dealing with an extremely painful sinus headache, but he pressed on and conducted the Bible Study anyway.) (Sess 45 - CH 13:11-14) 2-17-15 SD

The Story of Samson

n this message we hear the Old Testament story of Samson (about a God who works through, around, and in spite of, our disobedience, selfishness, violence, trickery and sacrilege to save us).

“A certain man of Zorah, named Manoah, from the clan of the Danites, had a wife who was childless, unable to give birth. The angel of the Lord appeared to her and said, “You are barren and childless, but you are going to become pregnant and give birth to a son. Now see to it that you drink no wine or other fermented drink and that you do not eat anything unclean. You will become pregnant and have a son whose head is never to be touched by a razor because the boy is to be a Nazirite, dedicated to God from the womb. He will take the lead in delivering Israel from the hands of the Philistines…”
Judges 13:2-5, NIV
