Sermon: "God's Sanctuary," Rev. R. Scott MacLaren, First Presbyterian Church, Perkasie, PA 8/05/12

The Mars spacecraft "Curiousity" will be breaking the Martian atmosphere this evening (8/05/12) to explore the alien landscape for signs of life. The planet was named after the Roman god "Mars," but he likely will not be found there. Where in the heavens does God make his home? Watch as Pastor MacLaren shows how God directed Moses to build a sanctuary for him to dwell with his people. This sermon was preached at First Presbyterian Church in Perkasie, PA on August 5, 2012. The Rev. R. Scott MacLaren is the pastor.

The Lies of Lust

This video shows some of the lies that the enemy wants Christians to believe about lust. Many Christians feel condemned. They feel like there is no hope of ever being victorious over the distortion and corruption of this God given desire. The enemy wants people to lower their moral standards. He wants them to try to justify sexual immorality by any means possible. He wants them who are convicted to never move beyond the conviction and to buy into the lie that they can not be free and must simply accept it. BUT when we go to the word of God we read that Christ has given us the power and grace to overcome all sin! If we are in Christ and obey the conviction of the Spirit we will be victorious!

Postmodernism by Rob Cartledge Part 2 of 4

Preached 15/1/12

In this sermon author and minister Rob Cartledge reveals the hopelessness and despair of the commonly accepted postmodern mindset of the 21st Century.

We live in a day where the world is saturated with contradictory faiths and beliefs. Can they all be right? Are they all wrong? As Christians, it is imperative that we understand something of what these religions teach and believe, so that we can accurately discern right from wrong. "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." (Ephesians 5:11)
