A teen with a big heart has given athletes with disabilities a shot at experiencing baseball joy. The high school student’s heartwarming move has allowed others to have fun playing baseball, which may never have happened otherwise. Watch the short but tear-jerking video to hear about a special baseball league started by a teenager.

Most people love watching athletes compete against one another and cheering their team on to victory. Is there anything better than watching your team get a big W following a hard-fought, highly competitive game? What about playing the game yourself?

Sadly, some do not get that opportunity to step up to the plate and show others what they can do. Instead, they are relegated to the sidelines, where they must watch from the sidelines and only dream of what would happen if given the chance to play. A clip posted on YouTube tells of a young man and his father providing a group of special athletes with an opportunity to fulfill those athletic dreams.

As a high school freshman, Matthew McCauley came up with the Redondo Sunset Champions League idea. It’s a baseball league that gives anyone, regardless of their physical or mental challenges, the opportunity to play baseball.

Matthew was motivated by his desire to do something positive in the world.

“The big idea? Just to do some positive good,” Matthew said. “It was really gratifying, I’d say, just to see these kids play a sport that I love.”

While those who play in the league have enormous amounts of fun, Matthew added that he is the one who has been blessed.

“I’m thankful for having been able to do this,” he said. “It’s been amazing to see the players get better.”

What a tremendous way to show love and kindness to others. The league gives some athletes the opportunity to play baseball, which they may never have had if not for the league.

Candace Cameron Bure reveals the family crisis that led to her faith in Christ. The actress, author and podcast host mentioned how a tumultuous and uncertain time in her family resulted in her accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Unfortunately, we will all experience hardships and trials. As most people know, they have a way of finding us at one time or another. That’s a simple and unavoidable fact of life. No one’s life is perfect, regardless of fame, status and net worth. People aren’t perfect, far from it, and so, because of that, our relationships will not be either.

Sadly, this often means that even marriages can go through rough spots, where even divorce looks like a real possibility. In a clip posted on YouTube, Candace shares how a tough period in her parents’ marriage ended with her finding and turning her life over to Jesus Christ.

“My parents were on the brink of divorce when I was 12,” she said. “A friend invited them to go to counseling at their church. My dad was not a believer. My mom was a believer, but my dad agreed to go to counseling and to start going to church.”

She mentions her parents truly wanted to fix their marriage but were unsure of how to go about doing that.

Later in the clip, Cameron says she made a life-changing decision several months after attending church.

“This started our journey going to church,” she said. “So, at 12, you know, probably after a couple of months of going, six months of going, I gave my life to Christ.”

What a powerful testimony and example of how Jesus Christ can make something beautiful from a seemingly broken and hopeless situation.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, said the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

A handful of kids met with Spider-Man at Disneyland, but what happened next surprised everyone. The children and the people standing nearby who were capturing the Spider-Man meet-and-greet were utterly taken aback. Watch the short but moving clip to see what happened that caught everyone by surprise.

Most children have a deep, burning desire to go to one of the many Disney parks around the world. If you’re a parent, you’re likely familiar with how badly children want to visit those beloved theme parks. Those little ones might even become annoying with it, constantly pestering and questioning you about a possible Disney vacation.

Can you really blame them for being a tad persistent? Who wouldn’t want to visit Disneyland or Disney World and hang out with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and all their friends? It’s the place where dreams come true, where anything can happen. That is precisely what occurred when a group of youngsters met with Spider-Man, the iconic comic book hero.

In a clip posted on social media, the kids are crowding around the masked superhero. Spider-Man performs a series of poses as the kids mimic his moves. At one point during their interaction, they all pose for a photo, and as they do, a group of people is seen running up behind the kids to join the picture. One of them is actress and singer Zendaya, who has appeared in a couple of the most recent Spider-Man films.

But that was not all.

After taking the photo, the person in the Spider-Man suit pulled off his mask, revealing that it was Tom Holland, the actor who plays the superhero in the popular Marvel films. Tom’s big reveal was met with complete shock and surprise as many let out screams and shouts.

That’s a moment that none of them will ever forget!

A great-grandmother bounced into joy during her first-ever jumps on a trampoline. The woman clearly had the time of her life as she could not contain her laughter while hopping around on the bouncy surface. Watch the short but sweet video of the older woman having fun on a trampoline.

Staying active is one of the best ways to remain as healthy as possible. Unused muscles tend to deteriorate and atrophy, so getting up and moving around is always a good idea. That is one reason every medical professional stresses the importance of regular, daily exercise.

While exercise is not always the most fun thing in the world, it remains vitally important no matter your age or stage in life. The great thing about exercise is that it can and does take many different shapes and forms. Anything can be exercise; getting up, doing something, exerting energy and working your muscles is essential.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one woman had an extraordinary time jumping on a trampoline. It was an activity that she had never done before. As the text in the video explains, the woman’s great-grandson learned that she had never been on a trampoline and invited her to enjoy her first bounces with him. What a sweet gesture and a unique way for them to spend time together.

The little guy bounces around as his great-grandmother is helped onto the trampoline. Once on the trampoline, she carefully bounces up and down, slowly getting a feel for and taking in this new experience. 

After a few moments, she seems to become a tad nervous and holds onto the man kneeling on the trampoline a little too hard, inadvertently gripping him around the neck.

Someone off the trampoline, behind the camera, comments on the great-grandmother’s hand placement.

“You’re choking him,” the man said.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”

One girl’s brave response during an emergency helped to save her father’s life. She stayed cool, calm and collected and knew exactly what to do when the unexpected happened. Watch the short clip to see and hear about this young woman’s heroic, life-saving actions.

It’s too bad we are never given a 10 or even a 5-minute notice before a medical emergency. If that were the case, we could begin getting ready to help or possibly even prevent the emergency from happening altogether. Unfortunately, that’s not how emergencies typically work. Instead, we have to try to remain calm and provide assistance wherever possible.

Staying calm and cool during those intense moments is probably the most significant and helpful factor when offering aid during an emergency. It’s not really possible to be beneficial if you’re running around screaming frantically. Not much will be accomplished like that, or at least anything good.

A clip posted on YouTube tells of a young woman, an 8-year-old, who remained calm when her father suffered a seizure. Instead of freezing up and being too afraid to act, the child contacted 911 and informed them of the situation.

The child, while talking to the 911 operator, stays unbelievably calm. She explains what was happening right before her father’s medical episode and what he did while experiencing the seizure.

Later, the clip shows the child holding the front door open when first responders arrived on the scene. Thanks to the child’s quick actions and staying calm and cool under pressure, first responders rushed her father to the hospital for evaluation and care.

The child’s father, John, was obviously proud of how his daughter reacted in that moment.

“Definitely a proud dad moment,” he said. “She was able to stay calm and stay poised in what I can only imagine was a very, very scary situation for an 8-year-old.”

After saving a man’s life, these bank employees got the tastiest “thank you.” Those who work at one Wells Fargo location stepped up in a big way, and their quick, decisive actions helped keep one man alive. Watch the short but powerful story to hear what several bank employees did and the delicious way they were repaid for their life-saving efforts.

Life is an unpredictable series of events, and medical emergencies are part of that. Unfortunately, emergencies happen every day. How often do you see an ambulance, its siren blaring and its lights flashing, racing down the highway? A lot, right?

While we can never predict when they will occur, having a plan of action is always a good idea. However, that plan only works if the people on the scene during an emergency can execute it and don’t freeze up in the moment. As a clip posted on YouTube explains, several bank employees knew exactly what to do during an emergency, and their actions helped save one man’s life.

Jimmy Mock, 89, went to his local Wells Fargo to deposit a check when something went terribly wrong. The video says that his body started to sway, he lost consciousness and his face drooped. Jimmy was having a stroke in the bank. Employees in the bank immediately gave the 89-year-old a chair and called 911. First responders were on the scene quickly and rushed the restaurant owner to the hospital.

However, the bank employees' swift call to 911 likely saved Jimmy’s life.

“They called 911 right away,” one woman said. “And honestly, that speed to call is what helped save his life.”

Jimmy and his family are eternally grateful for their quick and decisive efforts and wanted to express their appreciation and gratitude, but how?

Jimmy is a restaurant owner, and one of his grandkids suggested a unique, out-of-the-box idea: give those hero bank employees free chicken wings for life.

A husband finds out his wife is pregnant with twins, and his reaction is priceless. The look on his face when he first learns the big news says it all. Nothing will likely change your life more than becoming a parent. Children need a ton of attention and care. In a clip posted on YouTube, the moment one man learns he is about to be the father of twins is captured. It’s clear from the look on his face that he is feeling all kinds of emotions. Who wouldn’t at that point? He seemingly goes from shock to disbelief to fear and, finally, to utter joy, all in a matter of seconds.

While holding a child, the man gets a look at a sonogram picture, and he looks at the camera with a puzzled and inquisitive look.

“What’s that?” he asks. “Twins? What?”

At that moment, he is every husband when they first learn they are having twins. He is in a state of shock and disbelief. Once he finally realizes what he’s just learned, he is overjoyed about the impending arrival of two new lives.

A high school principal went above and beyond to show support for graduating students. The dedicated educator's actions were kind, sweet and completely unexpected. Graduation, whether from high school or college, is a milestone that should be recognized and celebrated. It’s a big step in life, marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. What happens after someone walks across the stage and accepts their diploma is often unknown and can be frightening.

Those graduates typically have many questions, dreams and fears about their future. That’s why they need to know they are loved and supported as they set out for the future and the unknown. Students who graduated from one high school in Texas know they are loved and supported after what the school’s principal did for every member of the graduating class.

A clip posted on YouTube tells of how Jason Mutterer sat down and wrote a note to all 443 members of his school’s graduating class. These weren’t form letters where he signed his name at the bottom. He personalized them, spending hours after work learning about the students. The notes informed each student how they had personally impacted the school for the better.

“So, I wanted them to be able to pull that out and be a reminder that there’s something very special inside of them,” he said.

One student mentioned he teared up while reading the personalized, handwritten card from the school’s principal.

Even during their graduation ceremony, the high school principal, while speaking, actually turned his back on the crowd at one point and addressed the students specifically one last time.

“He made every single one of us feel seen and loved that day,” one student said.

What a beautiful and powerful act of kindness!

A delivery driver had a sweet surprise for three kids running a lemonade stand, and his kindness warms hearts. It was an unexpected move and one that those children will surely remember well into the future. Kindness and generosity are in short supply today. Turn on the evening news or log into Instagram, Facebook or any other popular social media platform, and you’ll soon discover this to be true. Many people seem able to inflict an incredible amount of hurt and pain on one another.
 
Yes, it seems that cruelty, brutality and apathy often reign supreme in society. Who cares what happens to someone else as long as I get mine, right?  However, that is not always correct. There are still kind, caring and loving people in the world. A clip posted on social media shows this is very much the case.
 
In the video, the delivery driver, who appears to work for UPS, exits his truck and walks up to a lemonade stand being run by three young ladies. Like every child who has ever operated a lemonade business, they are simply trying to quench their customers' thirst while also making a little bit of money in the process. However, the deliveryman is a bit surprised after asking about the going rate for a cup of their lemonade.
 
“Fifty cents, but you can have it for free,” one of the young ladies responds to the driver’s inquiry.
 
“What?” the man says, flabbergasted at the response.
 
He then proceeds to try their lemonade, commenting that their drink is delicious. But he does not simply get in his truck and drive away. Instead, he surprises each of them with a rather large tip, giving each girl $20.
 
What a wonderfully kind and unexpected gesture! Those three young ladies will likely remember that man’s kindness for years.
