Two talented girls perform an incredible medley of our favorite songs from The Lion King.
This classic movie was originally released in 1994 as a traditional animated film. In 2019, the iconic movie made its way back into theaters with a new look to story we all know and love.
This film has gone through a photorealistic computer-animated makeover, giving it an updated technological look. But don’t worry, all of the characters we know and love are back together and that also means the return of many beloved songs plus some new classics.
Today, Kenya Clark and Evelyn Escalona are creating an amazing mashup with the songs ‘Circle Of Life’ and ‘Spirit.’ ‘Spirit’ is the newest addition to the Disney song library. Performed by pop diva Beyonce, this inspiring tune reminds us to carry on even in the face of struggles.
“Sayin' rise up
To the light in the sky, yeah
Watch the light lift your heart up
Burn your flame through the night, Oh...
Spirit, watch the heavens open (Open)
Yeah
Spirit, can you hear it calling? (Calling)
Yeah”
Set against a beautiful backdrop of plains and dancers, Kenya and Evelyn belt out these powerful lyrics. And when they hit those high notes, I was in awe of the talent on display.
What an incredible showcase of vocal skills and inspiring imagery. This music is the perfect way to ensure that The Lion King will live on for another generation to enjoy.
Who else is listening to this medley again?
An incredible moment in nature is captured on camera when this beluga whale plays fetch with a boater.
I think we can all agree that God’s creatures are absolutely amazing. From the grand beasts in the jungle to the tiniest microorganisms in the sea, He took great care when creating each and every one.
One of the most beautiful and majestic creatures that we come across is the whale. While there are many different species, in all shapes and sizes, the beluga whale is widely recognized. Noted for it’s white color and dolphin-like head, the beluga whale is found in the Arctic and sub-Arctic waters.
Recently, a group of South African rugby fans came across one of these incredible creatures as it swam near their boat. But what really surprised them was one they tossed the whale a ball and he ‘threw’ it right back.
The beluga whale was playing his own version of fetch and it is so amazing to witness. Time after time, the whale swims after the ball and brings it back to the overjoyed boaters.
As the camera rolls, this whale shows his friendly personality and wits. Once the video was posted online, it quickly garnered millions of views.
So many others were in awe watching one of God’s most majestic creatures interact with humans. What a sight!
Genesis 1:21 “So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”

This bullied boy with long hair was keeping a sweet secret and it’s touching everyone’s heart.
For months, 9-year-old Kit Porritt refused to cut his hair. Even his mother had no idea why the young boy did not want to trim his locks.
His long, blonde hair led to many questionable stares with some people even thinking that Kit was a girl. In fact, at one point, a modeling agency approached Kit when they were looking for fresh, new girl faces.
The young boy became the target of bullies in the schoolyard but the entire time, he stood firm and let his hair continue to grow. Finally, 18 months later, Kit revealed that he had made a secret pledge to help The Little Princess Trust.
This incredible organization makes wigs for children that have underwent cancer treatment. They rely on the donations of real hair to fashion the wigs. For a year and a half, Kit had been growing his hair so that he would qualify to donate.
This incredible moment at the salon shows Kit sitting in the stylist’s chair as she starts to cut away his long locks. With a huge smile on his face, Kit watches as she takes inches off of his blonde hair.
After his story was posted online, it quickly went viral. Many were touched by the young boy’s selfless heart and his amazing strength and determination.
Despite the obstacles, Kit made a vowel to himself and was able to donate to The Little Princess Trust. What an inspiring boy!
This is a message given to me in 2012 for my daughters. As I read it I thought, wow, this is a message from Jesus to my and His daughters simultaneously. Jesus is King!
When Jesus died on the cross, that is true love. He gave His life to spare ours, because He loved us that much. We talk of Jesus' love... but to feel it. To know just how much the creator of the universe loved us.. that he would pay our penalty. I am not sure that any song could possibly convey that. However, I tried to show you how it feels. I pray that it moves you.

2015 Annual Veterans Day Celebration, Ochelata, Oklahoma. The Baptist church in Ochelata, Oklahoma holds a annual Veterans Day Celebration to celebrate local and area wide veterans. A wonderful event that I have personally attended and recorded for the "GraceTime archives".
This is a lyric video to a very powerful song. Through life we are faced with many temptations, alot stronger when we are less wise, young and vulnerable. The song is about finding the divine power within yourself to defeat negativity, in gods name.
September is the #WorldSuicidePreventionMonth. Although suicidal behavior can be prevented, more often than not, people with depression suffer in silence. Thus, it’s about time to openly talk about our mental health to eliminate the stigma associated with mental conditions. There is hope and help for you. Remember, you are not alone. You matter. You are loved.
