For grandma and grandpa, grandchildren are the greatest thing in the world. Don’t believe me? Watch a grandmother or a grandfather and see how they light up when their grandchild enters the room. For grandma and grandpa, everyone else in the room has essentially disappeared. It’s sure to be one of the sweetest things you’ll ever witness.
In a clip posted on social media, a grandmother interacting with one of her grandchildren notices something odd. She picks up a subtle but telling message on her grandchild’s shirt. Grandma then starts asking questions, wondering what it could all mean.
She is probably secretly thinking and hoping about whether she has another grandchild coming. She then asks the question.
“Wait, is something happening?” she asks her daughter-in-law.
When the grandmother’s suspicions are finally confirmed that another baby is on the way, she quickly becomes overwhelmed with happiness.
Grandma begins shrieking with joy.
“Oh my God!” she says.
Then, it’s all smiles and hugs as everyone embraces, showing how much joy children add to the world before they are even born.
Grandpa is also as happy as can be after hearing that he will soon have another little grandchild crawling and running around.
