Paul Sullivan

Paul Sullivan

Paul Sullivan has been presenting The Irish Hit Parade since 1982, carrying forward one of the longest-running traditions of Irish music radio in America. A West Roxbury native and alumnus of Boston Latin School and Stonehill College, he spent his days as a teacher and his Saturdays delivering the soul of Irish music to listeners across the Boston area and beyond. Radio for Paul is more than a gig—it’s a lifelong calling.

Known for his warmth, authenticity, and deep respect for Ireland’s cultural heritage, Paul helps anchor “Irish Saturday” with a mix of traditional and contemporary music, folklore, and news. His tenure, now exceeding 40 years, reflects rare continuity in broadcast history—and he shares the broadcast day with fellow veterans like Matt O’Donnell and Bill Bailey, contributing to a cumulative on-air presence of more than seven decades.
