Forrest Frank Reveals How God Led Him Into Christian Music

Forrest Frank revealed how God led him into Christian music. The popular Christian music artist shared his powerful testimony, which shows God at work in his life, leading and directing him where to go. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear how Forrest was told he would make Christian music.

We all want a clear mission and plan for our lives, a stated purpose and a direction. That makes complete and total sense. Who would want to live an aimless and directionless life, where nothing of value or worth is accomplished? That sounds like a recipe for a horrible, miserable existence, one in which we would constantly be questioning ourselves.

Thankfully, the Lord does have a will and plan for every one of us. However, finding out what that plan and the direction for our lives is much easier said than done. Getting to that point could mean some stumbling, falling and failing, or it could not. In a clip posted on YouTube, Forrest discusses the unique and shocking way the Lord informed him that he was to go into the Christian music world and make music.

“A girl came up to me in church, and she’s like, ‘Hey, I had a dream of, I don’t know you,’” he said. “She’s from a different city. She’s like, ‘Hey, God gave me a dream about someone named Forrest Frank, and a lot of it was about this prophetic thing about, ‘Hey, I think you’re supposed to do Christian music. And you’re going to, like, change the game,” he recalled she told him. “This is before I ever did any Christian music.”

What a powerful moment! It demonstrates how God uses others to communicate his message and plans for our lives.

We may never experience something like Forrest did, but God has a plan and purpose for our lives.

Kirk Cameron Reflects on Love and His Marriage

Kirk Cameron reflected on love and his decades-long marriage. The actor, writer and television show host shared his thoughts about love and how his marriage has changed and endured over the years. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to hear Kirk define love and how his view of love has impacted his marriage.

As it has been said, love is the most potent force on Earth. It drives people to do things they would never have considered before. Love causes people to give of themselves and to even put themselves in harm’s way for the safety and well-being of another. Love puts the other person before yourself.

While there are many different forms of love, the one most think of whenever love is mentioned (thanks to all the TV shows and movies) is the romantic variety, which is most often seen between a husband and a wife. Again, like with every other form of love, that is a situation in which the husband is supposed to put his wife’s needs before his, and vice versa. In a clip posted on YouTube, Kirk discusses love and how his relationship with his wife has changed over the years while talking with his son.

“Mom and I have been living out our love story for 35 years now,” Kirk said. “And it deepens. It changes. It’s a school where you learn how to die to yourself. Emotions change. Feelings change. Circumstances change.”

Later in the clip, Kirk adds that while love is easily the best thing on Earth, it can sometimes cause pain and sorrow.

“And I think, love is the greatest of all things,” he said. “We all hope for it. We all dream about it, and it also can be the most painful thing. The best songs are either about a heart that has been, you know, united in love with somebody else, or it’s been broken by love. I think few things are more powerful than it.”

Colossians 3:14 “And more than all, have love; the only way in which you may be completely joined together.”

Denzel Washington After God's Reward, Not Man's Awards, Accolades

Denzel Washington seeks God's ultimate reward and is unconcerned about any awards or accolades he may receive. The longtime Hollywood actor made it clear that awards and praise are not what he's after; he is focused on God's ultimate reward: making it to heaven. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear Denzel talk about how he concerns himself with the eternal, and not earthly, temporary things.

No one will live on this Earth forever. This place is nothing more than a pit stop on the way to eternity. Our lives are temporary, and all will pass away and experience death at some point. In the Bible, the book of James describes our lives as a mist or a vapor that is "seen for a little time and then is gone."

Chasing after worldly pleasures such as fame, money or praise are futile and meaningless because of how short life is and how we aren't promised tomorrow. The eternal should occupy much more of our concern and energy, but sadly, many people have their focus twisted and entirely backward. However, Denzel Washington understands what is important and what actually does matter, and it's not Oscars, money or praise from the critics.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Denzel was promoting his latest film when the interviewer remarked about his winning multiple Oscars. The "Training Day" star then states that the Oscars or any other award mean nothing to him.

"I don't do it for Oscars, I really don't care about that kind of stuff, you know?" Denzel said. "I've been at this a long time, and there's time when I won, shouldn't have won, and shouldn't have won and won, didn't win, and should have won. Man gives the award. God gives the reward. I'm not that interested in Oscars."

Later in the interview, he mentioned how empty and meaningless his acting accolades are to him.

"On my last day, it ain't going to do me a bit of good," he said.

"As long as He says, 'Now, boy, get on up here,' I'm all right," he added.

Candace Cameron Bure’s Firm Stance Against This Holiday Movie Cliché

Candace Cameron Bure has taken a firm stance against this holiday movie cliché. The actress, writer and director refuses to say this specific, overused line. Watch the short clip to hear what line Candace will not speak on screen and why she refuses.

Television shows and movies are full of clichés. While those familiar ideas, situations and lines we recognize as clichés were, at one time, original and cutting edge, they are now nothing more than just lazy writing. In nearly everything that comes out of Hollywood, you and I could easily pick out a dozen of them and probably much more than that.

While every film and television program uses clichés in some form or fashion, one genre arguably relies on them more than any other: Christmas movies. Even though many people say they hate clichés, when it comes to Christmas movies, we are likely to let them slide, especially if it’s a movie we love and watch every year.

However, in a clip posted on YouTube, Candace mentioned a cliché line that she will not say in any holiday movie. It’s one that we have all heard hundreds, likely even thousands of times.

“Pretty early on after saying them a couple of times, I was like, ‘Here’s some things I’m not going to say anymore in my Christmas movies,” she said. “And one of them that’s always been a really big theme in Christmas movies is to ‘follow your heart.’ The Bible says that the heart is wicked and deceitful above all things – that’s Jeremiah 17:9. So, we’re actually not to follow our heart but to follow the wisdom that God gives us.”

Later in the clip, Candace shared how she handles that situation when she spots that line in a script.

“So, there’s things like that where I will look at the Christmas movies and say, ‘Hey, what’s a different type of line I can say that would point to what we should be looking at: God. And maybe it’s a direct way of saying it, or maybe it’s just in a different type of conversation.’ But I don’t ever want to lead someone in something I know is deceitful.”

Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

Crowder Opens Up About the Powerful, Hopeful Message in ‘Still’

Crowder opens up about the powerful, hopeful message in his song, “Still.” The popular Christian music artist has a hit with his latest tune, and he shared how “Still” is a wonderful reminder about the loving God we serve, who is present no matter the circumstances.
Watch the but moving clip to listen to Crowder share the message in "Still," and how it’s something that we can hold onto regardless of what we’re going through.

You and I are not perfect. In fact, we are very far from perfect, and to take it a step further, perfection for us and every other human being is impossible. We all have our flaws, failures and blemishes. We will all and, most certainly do, stumble and fall.

Even after we realize we are sinners who need to repent, turn our lives over to Christ and accept Him as our Lord and Savior, we’ll still fail and stumble. We aren’t made perfect. Mistakes and errors will still be a part of our existence, but we are forgiven. Once forgiven, God doesn’t just turn His back and let us fend for ourselves. No, He continues working and molding us, making us into the person He wanted us to be all along.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Crowder shares this and more, which is the central message in his hit song, “Still.”

“I know life gets messy, and problems pile up, and sometimes it feels like we’re letting God down, but the truth is in our lowest moments, God is still working,” he said. “And this song’s a reminder that His grace doesn’t depend on us getting it right. He’s not waiting on perfection. He’s present in our pain, our doubts and our failures.”

Later in the clip, the Christian music artist shared that the song is for anyone struggling and wondering whether they are a failure or a lost cause in God’s eyes.

“So, this is a song for anybody who needs to know that you’re not alone, and God’s not done,” he added.

Philippians 1:6 “For I am certain of this very thing, that he by whom the good work was started in you will make it complete till the day of Jesus Christ:”

Lauren Daigle and Jamie MacDonald Discuss Their Powerful Song, ‘Desperate’

Lauren Daigle and Jamie MacDonald discussed their powerful new song, “Desperate.” The two talented Christian music artists explained why the song speaks to and means so much to them. Watch the short but impactful clip to hear what the two young women say about their tune, “Desperate.”

This world is a hopeless place, and, sadly, it is full of lost and broken people. Many are suffering and hurting, looking for anything that will alleviate their pain and sorrow, even for just a few seconds. They search near, far and everywhere in between, only to come up empty every time. Any “solution” they were to find would only be a temporary fix, a band-aid, and they’d be right back in the same, exact place shortly.

The only solution to any problem, issue or anything else that may ail this lost and broken world is Christ’s love, guidance, direction and forgiveness. Proceeding without it and attempting to go it alone on our own strength is a fool’s errand and will result in disappointment and disaster. Many people are in these desperate, seemingly hopeless positions. The only thing that can turn things around is Christ –the message of Lauren and Jamie’s powerful duet, “Desperate.”

In a clip posted on YouTube, the two musicians discussed their tune, including what part of the song “stands out” to Lauren and how the tune helped Jamie process a massive loss in her life.

“’I need heaven,’ that’s the lyric that always stands out to me,” Lauren said. “That was the line, honestly, that when I heard the song, that I felt the most desperation on because I don’t know if it’s your voice, like, trembles there,” Lauren said. “Maybe it’s just the word need, like, expressing that I can’t do this by myself.”

Later in the clip, Jamie mentioned that she had recently lost her father, and writing the song was a therapeutic exercise for her.

“It was just, like, this low time in my life where I really hadn’t, like, grieved everything with the loss of my dad,” she said. “And so, when we wrote that song, I felt, like, ‘Man, these are the words I’ve needed for so long.’”

Lucille Ball Shares the Surprising Origins of 'I Love Lucy'

Lucille Ball shares the surprising origin story of “I Love Lucy.” The comedy legend shares how the iconic and beloved television show almost did not happen. Watch the short but informative and surprising clip to hear Lucille Ball mention how the show eventually came together.

Everyone has a favorite television show. For some, that go-to program is a sitcom, while others may go the more dramatic and suspenseful route. Regardless of the genre, typically, it’s a show they can go back to whenever they are sick or feeling down and depressed. After a few moments with those characters and familiar storylines, you’re back to feeling like your old self.

However, as much as we love those programs, we don’t often get much or any background info on them. Why did this show make it to air when many others don’t? Who first came up with the show’s central premise? What were the show’s creators and producers thinking with this episode or character? Those are questions that many viewers never get answered when it comes to their favorite show.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the legendary Lucille Ball mentions how “I Love Lucy,” considered one of the greatest television shows of all time, almost did not happen. She says the network originally wanted the show filmed and produced in New York City, but Lucille was unwilling to move out to the Big Apple.

“They [the network] were impressed, and said, ‘Well, OK, and now come to New York and get to work,’” Lucille said. “And we said, ‘New York! We didn’t know you wanted us to come to New York. There’s no way.’”

She adds that she and her family had just bought a house in the Southern California area and were not packing up and moving across the country. The network threatened to drop the entire show, and Lucille was content with that if it meant moving to New York.

Then, after raising $5,000, Lucille says they bought the show, and the rest is, as they say, history.

Candace Cameron Bure Opens Up About What Still Makes Her Nervous

Candace Cameron Bure has opened up about what still makes her nervous. During an episode of “The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast”, the actress, writer and director shared what specific activity in her career gives her butterflies. Watch the short clip to hear what causes Candace a slight, momentary pause.

Nerves and anxiety are very real and are things many people struggle with. For those who do battle with anxiety, a whole host of circumstances and situations can trigger those feelings. The nervousness and anxious feelings can even get so bad that it becomes crippling and debilitating, robbing individuals of the ability to function normally.

One thing that terrifies many people and causes them horrible anxiety and nervousness is public speaking. For the most part, the fear of speaking in public stems from the idea that we’ll say something wrong or make ourselves look silly with all those eyeballs on us. That’s enough to make most people panic, including Candace.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Candace mentioned that she still gets nervous while speaking in public. However, she did make an important distinction about what kind and in what venue that causes her to feel butterflies in the stomach.

“If it’s an interview on live television, I’m not as nervous,” she said. “If it’s a performance on television, you know, any live performance, then, yes, I get more nervous.”

Later in the clip, Candace clarified exactly what she meant by “live performance.”

“Exactly, like hosting something, where it’s a performance,” she said. “I have a script. I might be reading off a teleprompter, then I’m a little bit more nervous. But it’s usually like nerves right at the beginning, and then once I’m 30 seconds into it, I’m like, ‘I got this. I know how to do this.’”

Even someone who has been acting and speaking in public for decades still gets nervous and anxious about talking in front of others.

Isaiah 41:10 “Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.”

Henry Winkler’s Kids Melt Hearts with Loving Words For Their Dad

Henry Winkler’s kids melt hearts with their loving words for their dad. He was surprised by a video of his children stating how much they love and adore him. Watch the short but tear-jerking video to hear their heartwarming messages about and for their father, Henry Winkler.

To many, actor Henry Winkler has been and will always be known as “The Fonz.” Henry’s Arthur Fonzarelli on the beloved and iconic television series “Happy Days” epitomized suave and smooth. The Fonz, while wearing a leather jacket and riding a motorcycle, was as cool as they come, and that is the image most people have of him.

However, to a few people, Henry is not The Fonz but holds a much more important, meaningful title: Dad. They don’t remember him for his iconic “Happy Days” role but for how he loved, cared for and raised them. In a clip posted on YouTube, Henry received a special and heartwarming message from his children.

While appearing on TODAY with Jenna & Friends, the actor was hit with the surprise video of children expressing their love and gratitude for their father. Their words and sentiments are enough to cause even the most unemotional person to shed a tear or two. It’s clear that they all genuinely love and appreciate their father and everything he has done for them.

Following the clip, Jenna, not Henry, was moved to tears by the message shared by his children. She then asked Henry for advice, asking him what he did to “raise such beautiful children.”

“The center of all relationships is the ear,” Henry said. “It is not how you meant it; it’s how it’s heard.”

He added that his children knew they could always tell him what was on their minds.

Later in the clip, Henry gets yet another surprise. He received his favorite sweet treat: a bundt cake.

Psalm 103:13 “As a father has pity on his children, so the Lord has pity on his worshippers.”

Candace Cameron Bure Reveals Family Crisis That Led Her to Faith in Christ

Candace Cameron Bure reveals the family crisis that led to her faith in Christ. The actress, author and podcast host mentioned how a tumultuous and uncertain time in her family resulted in her accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear how a family crisis led her to find Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, we will all experience hardships and trials. As most people know, they have a way of finding us at one time or another. That’s a simple and unavoidable fact of life. No one’s life is perfect, regardless of fame, status and net worth. People aren’t perfect, far from it, and so, because of that, our relationships will not be either.

Sadly, this often means that even marriages can go through rough spots, where even divorce looks like a real possibility. In a clip posted on YouTube, Candace shares how a tough period in her parents’ marriage ended with her finding and turning her life over to Jesus Christ.

“My parents were on the brink of divorce when I was 12,” she said. “A friend invited them to go to counseling at their church. My dad was not a believer. My mom was a believer, but my dad agreed to go to counseling and to start going to church.”

She mentions her parents truly wanted to fix their marriage but were unsure of how to go about doing that.

Later in the clip, Cameron says she made a life-changing decision several months after attending church.

“This started our journey going to church,” she said. “So, at 12, you know, probably after a couple of months of going, six months of going, I gave my life to Christ.”

What a powerful testimony and example of how Jesus Christ can make something beautiful from a seemingly broken and hopeless situation.

Michael W. Smith Reveals Origins of ‘Place in This World’

Michael W. Smith has revealed the origins of his hit song “Place in This World.” The background story of the beloved and iconic tune is powerful, likely to bring a tear or two or three to your eyes. Watch the short but moving clip to hear Michael explain what inspired the song’s title and lyrics.

Most people thoroughly enjoy listening to music. Honestly, who doesn’t love music? However, while many people like and appreciate music, most have no idea how their favorite tune came into being. What inspired those lyrics that you automatically sing along to whenever that tune comes on the radio, Spotify or Apple Music?

Every song must come from somewhere, from some experience or event. What was the motivation for that melody and those lyrics? In a clip posted on YouTube, Michael explains how and from where he drew inspiration when creating “Place in This World.” It’s a powerful story that may change how you look at and feel about the song.

The clip begins with Michael mentioning his overall aim for making music, stating that he wanted to use his musical gifts to bring glory and honor to His name.

“You know, I just wanted to make pop music and sing about Jesus and sing about my faith,” he said.

Later in the clip, he mentions specifically “Place in This World” and the heartbreaking place from which the lyrics came.

“I remember writing, when I wrote ‘Place in This World,’ when I even wrote the music, I remember just thinking, ‘I think this is a hit song.’” Michael said.

He mentioned bringing in Amy Grant and Wayne Kirkpatrick to help write the lyrics.

He added, “And it was inspired by all these letters I got from kids. They’re going, ‘I just, I just want to take my own life. I don’t, I don’t have anything to live for. And I think in one of those letters, a girl said, ‘I’m just trying to find my place in this world.’”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Tim Tebow on Why Every Believer Needs a Strong Spiritual Community

Tim Tebow shared why every believer needs a strong spiritual community. The former Heisman Trophy winner pointed out why belonging to and being plugged into a faith community is vitally important. Watch the short but powerful clip where Tim shares why this is a must for every follower of Jesus Christ.

The world is not always a friendly, welcoming, and uplifting place. Life frequently puts you through situations that leave you battered and bruised, hurting and downright discouraged. These trials and hardships can be agonizing and gut-wrenching, but some people will try to do it independently, completely, without anyone by their side.

When we endure trials and testing alone, the enemy attacks. Thoughts and feelings of worthlessness and depression start to creep into our minds. We’re suddenly reminded of past stumbles and failures. In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim shares why Christians need to belong to a strong community of other believers.

“The enemy says you’re alone, but God says I will never leave you and forsake you,” Tim said. “And so, that’s why it’s so important to have a renewing of your mind in God’s word, in Scripture, in prayer, and with other people around you because when we get isolated, when we get alone, all of those voices from the enemy start to leak in and they start to creep and they start to say and they start to point out all of those flaws.”

However, people were not meant to do life alone. We were made for relationships—to encourage and uplift one another.

Later in the clip, Tim adds that while we may have scars from what we’ve suffered in the past, God says that does not define us.

“You have to get back to Scripture because God’s saying, ‘No, no, no, no. You’re missing the mark because you’re missing the point. Yes, you have scars, and you have flaws, but you’re not defined by your scars. You’re defined by mine.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their work. And if one has a fall, the other will give him a hand; but unhappy is the man who is by himself, because he has no helper.”

Candace Cameron Bure’s Inspiring Take on Hearing ‘No’

Candace Cameron Bure had an inspiring take on hearing the word “no.” The actress, author, and podcast host shared how she responded when she was told no in her life. Watch the short clip to hear the encouraging and powerful way Candace has reacted whenever she encounters an obstacle.

It requires a fair amount of persistence and perseverance to accomplish anything and to get anywhere in life. Whether it’s personal or professional, there will be a lot of ups and downs. Many of those obstacles will come from people, naysayers who say something is impossible. They will say why this or that cannot be done, or they will simply respond with “no” and move along.

“No” is a word everyone is familiar with. Although it may only be two letters, hearing it can be soul-crushing, depending on the situation. In a clip posted on YouTube, Candace shares the unique way she has handled it when someone told her no in her life. Instead of allowing the harsh, straightforward response to keep her down, she has turned those situations into opportunities.

“We have figured out solutions to a lot of nos in my life and my career,” she said. “And so, people have shut that door and said, ‘No, that would never work. We’ve never done that before.’ And we come back and go, ‘Great, you’ve never done that before. Let us show you a way in which we can do that.’”

Later in the clip, Candace added that when someone responds negatively and states something is impossible for whatever reason, we should remember that we serve a mighty, all-powerful God capable of anything.

“And so, it’s a good lesson for all of you guys,” she said. “Don’t take a no at face value, and if someone tells you, like, ‘No, it’s never been done.’ Well, it doesn’t mean God can’t do that for you, and God can’t do it differently through you.”

FALL from the Hit Musical FALL

"Let me fall in love with you."

Comedic Legend Carol Burnett Shares Her Favorite Role from The Carol Burnett Show

Comedic legend Carol Burnett has shared her favorite role from The Carol Burnett Show. She did not hesitate in the slightest when she was asked to name the character she liked playing the most on the classic television program. Watch the short clip to hear Carol name the character she enjoyed playing the most and why.

If there were a Mt. Rushmore of comedy, Carol Burnett’s face would most certainly be on it. Her comedic genius, which has been on display throughout her illustrious career, is unmatched. Her lightning-fast, razor-sharp wit and impeccable comedic timing have made her a joy to watch for decades.

The Carol Burnett Show's zany, off-the-wall skits remain the stuff of legend, even decades after the show’s run on television ended. People can’t help but laugh themselves silly every time they catch one of those laugh-out-loud, hysterical sketches. Even though Carol appeared in hundreds of sketches and played hundreds of characters, she has a clear favorite.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the legendary comedian, in an interview from 1995, was asked to name her favorite character she played on the show. Without hesitation, Carol replied to the question with Eunice from The Mama’s Family skits. As she explains, it had nothing to do with the laughs she would inevitably get while playing that character, but more to do with the character itself.

“I think it was Eunice,” Carol said. “She started out as such a witch. She was just horrible, and then, as it developed, you could understand where her rage was coming from. It was this mother and feeling trapped and her dreams of being a movie star. Of course, were, you know, ridiculous.”

Later in the clip, Carol mentions how Eunice always wanted to be something else and was constantly striving for more.

Blake Shelton Shares How Gwen Stefani Has Helped Strengthen His Faith

Blake Shelton has shared how Gwen Stefani has helped strengthen his faith. In an interview, the country music star mentioned how his faith has grown recently and the role his wife and fellow musician, Gwen, has played in that.

Hollywood is typically not a place where faith is openly discussed or shared. For the most part, entertainers are usually tight-lipped regarding matters of faith. If they do share their thoughts and opinions on faith and religion, it’s usually to denigrate or put down those who do have faith and believe in God.

However, during a recent interview with singer-songwriter Kelleleigh Bannen, the host of the Kelleliegh Bannen Show, the topic of faith came up during a conversation with Blake Shelton. She asked the former The Voice judge if he has experienced any change in his faith, given his age, his mid-40s.

Blake was quick to respond, saying that it has grown considerably as of late. He was also quick to say that he credits his growth in his faith to one person: his wife, Gwen Stefani.

“Yeah, I would say that, and that comes from Gwen’s influence, you know?” Blake said. “Gwen in, you know, I’ve learned so much from her and she’s really the person that’s helped me kind of, you know, of get in touch with my faith, and gets serious about it, it’s not just something that you say at an awards show.”

Later in the clip, he mentioned how Gwen has pushed him to constantly think about and consider his faith. He said that she always sees the hand of God in everything around her.

“And it’s really special to be around her because it’s, her faith is alive, and it’s incredible to be around her,” he said. “And she’s so happy about it, and she loves to share it to anybody that’ll listen, and it’s inspiring to be around her.”
