Romans 15:1-3

We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. 3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

6-21-15 MESSAGE׃ “Now As Then“

We learn nothing from history, the old saying goes. But are their important truths to be learned from the great flood and the saving of Noah and his family? Absolutely! According to the Bible, now is as it was then. But what exactly does this mean for us today?

Romans 9:1-16

I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, 2 That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. 3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: 4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; 5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. 6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Acts 15:16-20

16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: 17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things. 18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. 19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: 20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

One Church

Matthew 16:1-28
Matthew 16:13-18

Ecclesia means the church... called out ones...

It is the Word of God that you should seek. Have you stopped seeking the things of God? Are you seeking after the material things of the / this world. Man can not change the Word of God. To be part of the one church you have to be part of the one God through Christ Jesus. No man can not put you in God's Heaven.

If Christ Jesus is in your life, no one can take you out before your time. Are you busy with things of the world and trying to hold on to those things, that we are not seeing what God has planned for us. Only the things that are done for Christ will remain.

Jesus is the son of God
Jesus is coming back
Do you believe in the return of Christ Jesus?
Do you believe in Christ Jesus?

1. You have to believe in the word of God.

Decisions Determine Direction

Today Pastor Mike narrows down the many choices life gives us. There is only one choice for life and that choice is Jesus Christ. It's either Christ or chaos. Pastor Mike preaches from the book of Joshua 24:15, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!"

Revelation 7:13-14 Washed white in the blood of the Lamb

Published on May 6, 2015
[13] Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” [14] I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Todays Message Of Hope

This is a weekly tv program recorded at The Church Of The Cross located in Evansville In

becoming young (again)

In this message Pastor John looks at The Parable of a Child. According to Jesus, we need to become like one in order to enter his kingdom. What did he mean? And how can we do that?

“At about the same time, the disciples came to Jesus asking, “Who gets the highest rank in God’s kingdom?” For an answer Jesus called over a child, whom he stood in the middle of the room, and said, “I’m telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you’re not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will rank high in God’s kingdom. What’s more, when you receive the childlike on my account, it’s the same as receiving me.”
Matthew 18:1-3, MSG
