Romans 14:7-17

7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. 14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

Romans 8:1-19

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Acts 15:4-12

4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them. 5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses. 6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter. 7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. 10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

Stop Talking About God

In the Book of Acts, even those who scoffed at Christianity said that the early Church "turned the world upside down." How did they do that? Primarily by preaching "Jesus and the resurrection." This teaching gives you four reasons why you will see more fruit if you preach Christ rather than "God."

Acts 17:1-5

Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: 2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, 3 Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. 4 And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few. 5 But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people.

5-31-15 MESSAGE: "First Response Training"

God's people must continually be trained to react and respond to life's circumstances and situations with faith, looking to the lord for help and assistance. This is a humorous and yet much needed message!

Transforming Power

Exodus 19:1-25
Acts 2:1-4
An appointed time (OT feast) means God is going to do something.
Feast of Passover and Feast of First Fruits (first fruit from the dead) point to Christ Jesus' return.

Feast of Pentecost- God is going to do something. Dreams, visions, revelations, tongues, prophecy through the Holy Spirit.

The feast of unleavened bread. The promise of the father, that power is explosive power. To do things that we thought we could not do. Moses went to the mountain and God wrote the commandments on stone. When we receive the Holy Spirit God's law is written on our hearts.

God wants us to know that there is evil in these days. He fills us with the Holy Spirit. All you have to do is ask God into your life...Jesus brings Comfort. The Holy Spirit is the Comforter. It takes God on the inside to shows you how to live on that word that you are learning in God's word.

John Chapters 14-16 speak of Jesus sending the Comforter. The battle is not yours, it's the Lords. When you have God's Holy Spirit living in you, you will be able to stand for what is right.

Acts 2:1-4

Mark 13:9-13
