In this parable, Pastor Dunbar discusses how the sower represents Jesus, how the four different types of soil represent all the people in the world, and how the character of the seed represents Christ's Word.

Part 1 of a 3 part series concerning God's grace in our giving, precipitated by the grace of His giving. The base text is 2 Corinthians 8-9.

In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus says, "give us this day our daily bread", but that seems so narrow. What about all the other things in life? Is that included? What about my wants and desires? This message will address the principle that Jesus gives in this part of His prayer.

In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus says, "Your Kingdom come and your will be done" but what are we really praying for? This message will help you gain a better understanding of what Jesus teaches us to pray for concerning God's Will and our lives.

Pastor Gudgel discusses how Christians, as unworthy servants, can become trustworthy by working to keep God's Word pure and sacred in the world today.

Jesus teaches us that when it comes to rejection and violence and hatred, he has been there and done that. Those who follow him must not be surprised when they experience the same "because a student is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. If they did this to me, they will do this also to you."

On this Holy Trinity Sunday, Pastor Dunbar reminds us that even with all the pain and suffering we humans endure, we must remember that our Christian life is still beautiful- a Father who provides for us, a Son who forgives, feeds, and teaches us, and a Holy Spirit who enlightens our minds and shows us the path to true wisdom.

Pastor Dunbar discusses God's great reservoir of love that is available to all people through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. But is is only available to those who believe- so how do we get the fantastic news of this out to non-believers? By being witnesses of his loving grace- having our tongues set "on fire" to speak about our Savior.

Pastor Dunbar discusses about why we should not reject Jesus as our Savior, but allow him to carry our burdens so that we can seek rest in Him.

There are boundaries that we set for ourselves. Some things are off limits.... If your relationship can only be with people that look like you, then you don't understand a relationship with God.

God has not set boundaries based on the color of your skin, or the texture of your hair. God doesn't make distinctions we do. People are looking for love in the wrong place. Come to church and find the right love. If you only marry for looks, it's going to change. Time will tell.

Part one of two

Sometimes, it is necessary for someone to issue a letter of commendation or a letter of accommodation as an introduction. I have had and also written such letters at appropriate times. In Paul's message, he dismisses the use of such letters on parchment, because, the lives of those he teaches render a greater commendation for him than any letter could.
