This 9-year-old’s teddy bear mission is bringing joy to hospitalized children. The young man saw a need and a mission field and took real, concrete steps in order to fulfill that need. Watch the short but tear-jerking clip to hear how one caring, tender-hearted and entrepreneurial little guy is helping to put smiles on the faces of children in hospitals.

Life is not often fair. Things will crop up out of nowhere, even through no fault or decision of our own. Situations and circumstances can arise without a moment’s warning and completely alter the trajectory of our lives. This can happen for the best, and sadly, it can also occur for the worst.

Despite how horrible and gut-wrenching life can be at times, there is no situation worse than seeing a child suffer. Those St. Jude Hospital commercials, featuring children with cancer, can and do emotionally wreck people. No child should have to go through something like that, but unfortunately, it happens every day.  

But what if there was something that could be done to put even a momentary smile on the face of a child in the hospital?

A clip posted on YouTube tells the story of Jack’s Bravery Bears. It’s an organization, started by a 9-year-old, with a straightforward mission: “collecting and delivering hundreds of stuffed teddy bears to children at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.”

So, where and how did Jack, the loving and caring young man, come up with his mission? It came to him while he was doing something else for the hospitalized children. The clip mentions that he was making blankets for the children when the inspiration for Jack’s Bravery Bears struck.

“I said, ‘Wouldn’t it be fun if the kids at Nationwide had a teddy bear to go with their blanket?’ Jack said. “And then, I started collecting teddy bears.”

Jack understands that the youngsters in the hospital are going through “a lot” and mentioned that he “just wanted to give them a boost of confidence.”

What an incredibly sweet young man with a heart for those sick and hurting.

In this powerful account, Anna shares her difficult upbringing, steeped in new age witchcraft and abuse. Lord, As I look back on this past year, I thank You for carrying me through it all. I confess that some of my choices missed the mark, and I repent of any sin or hurt I may have caused. Teach me what I need to learn from the past without allowing it to define me. Help me truly receive Your forgiveness, knowing that what You forgive, You no longer hold against me. Marriage is a worthwhile and excellent endeavor. But like everything else worth having in this life, it does not come easily. Marriage requires commitment, perseverance, time and work from both parties. If any of those are missing from either person, then that marriage relationship will be rocky, to say the least.

As anyone who has been or is married understands, that relationship is a partnership. While both individuals should be giving equal effort in all areas of the marriage, sometimes that is not possible due to various reasons. So, when that isn’t an option, the other person can, momentarily, shoulder a greater share of the burden. When one is weak, the other can support, carry and uplift them. They are made greater because they are two instead of one.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a father explains his similar view of a marriage relationship. He understands that both should be doing half the work, but he also knows that this is not always possible.

“One of the things I like to say is, it’s not about being 50-50 on a given day,” he said. “It’s about being 50-50, roughly over a given decade.”

Later in the clip, he added that marriage is not necessarily about a perfect, 50-50 split, but about the other lifting the other up when they are not at their best.

“And I was like, it’s not about Susan and I being even every single day,” he added. “It’s about making sure on the days she’s at, like a 30, I can be at a 70. Or when I’m at a 30, she can be at a 70.”

Near the end of the clip, he added that when it comes to parents with small kids, doing this can be particularly difficult, but he and his wife still find ways to get through the day together when they aren’t running at optimal levels.

Thank You, Jesus, for coming into the world to bring salvation and light. You are the Light that darkness cannot overcome. I trust You to shine into the shadowed places of my life, bringing healing, peace, and renewed hope. You are my living hope, the One who conquered death itself. Help me remember that You, Immanuel, are with me no matter what I face. Amen.

Christmas can be a season filled with beauty and hope, yet for many, it also highlights grief, loss, and emotional heaviness. Beloved “Brady Bunch” actress Ann B. Davis shared her powerful testimony. She opened up about when and how she came to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. In a clip posted on YouTube, the latest actress discussed a variety of topics, including how she came to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. What she says about her faith and how she came to know Him is beyond powerful and moving!

“I knew that I wanted to be in show business, but in the process of doing ‘The Brady Bunch,’ I began to feel that something was missing in my life,” Ann said. “I thought, ‘Gee, that’s pretty greedy of me. I’ve got everything going for me. I’ve paid off some debts that I got from the two successful series, and I own my own home. I have friends and all this. What is it I think I’m missing?’”

Ann quickly realized what she was lacking in her life.

“Well, I came to the conclusion that there’s a God-shaped space in everybody’s heart,” she said. 
“And until you feel that space with God, you never know what it feels like to be whole and complete. And that’s what happened to me, I found the Lord. I mean, I was always a Christian, but I wasn’t always a practicing, living Christian.”

Later in the clip, she added that she had experienced a “testimony of affluence.”

“I’ve had everything the world has to offer,” she said. “God made me a better offer.”
