Can we all admit that receiving presents is pretty great? Now, when it comes to wrapping presents, there is most certainly an art to it, a skill. Some people have it, and others do not (I most certainly don’t). It’s for that reason that Greg says his grandmother was the best at wrapping gifts. She wrapped presents in some unique paper, to say the least.

“Nano was the greatest gift wrapper in history,” he said. “She wrapped our gifts in maps. Isn’t that cool? Yeah, I wish I would had saved them. My grandma worked for the defense department in mapping.”

Later in the clip, he confesses that she probably shouldn’t have brought these maps home.

“And it was great because I was, like, ‘Oh, your grandma has wrapping paper with Snoopys and Santa Clauses? That’s cute. My grandma trusted me with strategic bombing locations in mainland China.”

With all that being said, not every parenting moment is golden. In fact, there will be many instances in which those little ones get on your nerves, test your patience and even push you to what feels like the edge of your sanity. People who are struggling financially don’t typically flaunt those problems. Who in their right mind would want others to know that money is tight and they are in a bit of a situation right now? However, there are people who do put that in other people’s faces. No one enjoys that kind of person.

Driving in the Midwest is a totally different experience from anywhere else in the country. Midwest nice is on full display whenever you’re behind the wheel. The frequency at which people will slow down and let you merge or switch lanes is startling in the Midwest. Even with your blinker on, signaling your intention to merge or switch lanes, drivers on the West and East coasts will completely and forever ignore you.

However, as Dustin mentions in a clip posted on YouTube, Midwest nice while driving does have its drawbacks. Because of those downsides, he would like for Midwesterners to get a little, well, less nice.

“I could use Midwest nice to be 20 percent less nice,” he said. “And that’s because I’ve driven here, and society comes to a collapse when we all reach a four-way stop. I just need someone to make a decision.”

He says that instead of going, the drivers will keep waving at each other, telling each other it’s their turn to go.

As he adds, this mix of Midwest nice and indecisiveness is on full display at Midwest roundabouts as well.

A lot like life, the weather is also incredibly unpredictable. Yes, nearly every local television station has a team of meteorologists who are paid to forecast the weather. That’s why it’s kind of called a “prediction.” It’s an educated guess based on all the best available information at the time, but it’s still a guess, nonetheless.

Regardless, those who have lived in places where severe weather, such as tornadoes, is a possibility typically don’t get worked up about every warning and watch. They are good about taking everything in stride and don’t sweat that kind of thing. Apparently, Anjelah was unaware that some people have this kind of attitude and approach toward severe weather.

In a clip posted on YouTube, she stated that she was awakened by an alert on her phone about a tornado warning. Now, as a native Californian, she was used to earthquakes but not so much with tornadoes. This left her scrambling and looking for a safe place to post up during the storm.

Anjelah’s husband had very different thoughts and opinions on the possible severe weather event. Hilariously enough, she could not understand his laissez-faire, care-free approach.

“Now, my husband is an Army brat,” she said. “He grew up everywhere. He spent a lot of time in Kansas, and he was like, ‘Oh, we used to get these all the time. Don’t even worry about it. Just go back to sleep.’”

Her reaction was hilarious.

“To sleep?” she asked. “They just woke me up. I don’t think that’s what they want. He was like, ‘What county is it in? Oh, yeah, that’s like five miles away. We’re good. We could watch it from the front.’”

“As much as I love coming back to the Pacific Northwest, the one thing I don’t like about it is this group of people all still remember what the ‘Green River Killer’ looked like,” he said. “And that’s not great for me.”

In the video, a photo popped up of the serial killer Dustin mentioned, giving a side-by-side look at the two men. It’s kind of frightening how much they look like one another.

So, given how much he looks like the convicted serial killer, wouldn’t it just be easy for Dustin to shave his mustache and be done with it? Well, he mentions that if he does that, then he has another problem.

“And people are like, ‘Well, why don’t you just shave your mustache?’” he said. “It’s like, well, unfortunately, they also know what Macklemore (a rapper) looks like.”

Unfortunately, those cost-cutting measures can only go so far. Some things, like food and shelter, are necessary.

Next, in today’s day and age, the father opens the door, and without hesitation, forks over an undisclosed eye-popping amount of money. While trying to keep a brave face during the interaction, the father eventually breaks down.

Just because our wallets and our bank accounts may be taking a hit due to the rapid price increases of everything, that doesn’t mean our sense of humor and laughter have to. Hey, laughing is one of the very few things that does not cost you anything.

Teaching is not an easy profession, and anyone who says otherwise is badly mistaken. Those in the educational field are tasked with imparting wisdom and knowledge to the next generation. They are literally shaping and molding our country’s youth. A teacher’s actions in the classroom will have repercussions for years to come.

One big reason why teaching is often such a challenging career is that it’s nearly impossible to share knowledge with someone who isn’t willing to listen and learn. In those cases, when children aren’t so keen on sitting and hearing an entire lecture, educators have to get creative. They will use less conventional routes to reach students and, in many ways, become entertainers.

Students who are interested and engaged are more likely to remember, learn and absorb the information, facts and figures the teacher is sharing with the class. Think back on your own educational journey. What classes and teachers do you most remember? Of course, it’s those men and women who made learning fun and interesting.

That is exactly what one educator does, and he has gotten very creative with his latest clip posted on YouTube. In the video, the teacher used comments he heard his students say in his classroom, and made them into a song, a gospel song, to be exact.

The lyrics are not ones you would typically hear in a gospel tune, or any song for that matter. However, they are still laugh-out-loud hilarious, and show that this teacher has a sense of humor and does not take himself too seriously. You know, given this teacher’s humor and creativity, his students are likely to enjoy his class very much.

Does this relationship have legs? Will this work? Will it not, and if not, why not?

For Christians, one way to decide whether a relationship has staying power and a future is to take them to church. How will they react and what will they think of the service? There is only one way to find out, right?

While they are both looking straight ahead and participating throughout the service, their minds are anywhere but on what is happening in front of them.

Instead, both of them are constantly wondering what the other is thinking and feeling about the service. They are also making snap judgments about each other, worrying about whether they should do this or that and how their actions might be interpreted by the other person.

Given how awkward and strange this date went, I’m guessing there weren’t any others after this one.

Relationships are not easy. They are often challenging and tricky to navigate, with no two problems, disagreements or spats exactly the same. Sure, some may have a few similarities here and there, but each relationship issue and problem will have its own unique twist, and that’s what can make it so hard to know how to maneuver and proceed. That seems easy enough, right? Anyone with half a functioning brain would take him up on the challenge. That’s easy money.

Well, that doesn’t exactly turn out to be the case. The father places his hands in different places and lets the young girl smack them. Everything seems to be going according to plan until the very end.

He places his hand near the top of her head, but before she is able to hit his hand, he quickly withdraws it, which results in her hitting herself on the head.

So, not only did she not end up with the money, but she also gave herself an injury.
